Inclusive Workshops
A Supportive Haven for Creative Crafters
Mission of The Inclusive Workshops
Our Inclusive Workshops are engaging, hands-on experiences designed for neurodivergent and disabled crafters. Led by supportive instructors who celebrate each participant’s unique talents, our workshops strive to foster creativity, confidence, and community in a safe & welcoming environment.
Our Inclusive Workshops & Camps Strive to Fill a Crucial Gap
Our inclusive workshops and camp programs are rooted in years of lived and professional experience supporting neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill children and adults.
Our programs grew from our own experiences navigating the challenges of finding clubs and activities led by proactive, understanding instructors who authentically welcome people with diverse accessibility and sensory needs. We created our programs to help fill that crucial gap.
For crafters who may have felt overlooked, misunderstood, or excluded in other settings, we provide an accessible space where they are safe, valued, celebrated, and free to be themselves. Through creative, hands-on experiences, our programs invite participants (and their parents and guardians) to practice and strengthen social connections, build self-confidence, develop new skills, and form meaningful friendships at their own pace.
We welcome crafters with a wide range of neurotypes, communication styles, and access needs. This includes, but is not limited to, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), depression, hearing or vision impairments, tic disorders, Tourette syndrome, and more. Every individual is valued for who they are, with the foundational understanding that everyone learns, creates, and connects in their own unique way
