Kids General Workshop Policies
Age Requirements:
Workshops are designed for kids aged 5 and up. Children aged 5–7 must be accompanied by an adult. (director discretion for attending independently)
Workshop Locations:
Held at the Greenhouse or Schoolhouse locations, with capacity varying by workshop type.
Supplies:
Bring your own food, snacks, and drinks (BYO). All food and drinks must remain on the designated table.
Alcoholic Beverages:
NOT permitted at public kids' workshops. Permitted at kid private events for participants aged 21+. Please arrange a safe ride home if consuming alcohol.
Punctuality:
Workshops start on time. Please arrive promptly. First 1/2 hour of workshop is for snacking & getting settled.
No Smoking/Vaping:
Prohibited inside or within 50 feet of any workshop buildings.
Waiver Requirements:
Mandatory Waiver: All minor participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian on file before participating. Waivers are valid from January 1 to December 31 of the signed year.
Each child requires a separate waiver. (siblings cannot share waivers)

Pick up a waiver at the check-in desk upon arrival.
Attire & Safety
Footwear: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals).
Clothing: Dress in clothing that can get dirty or ruined. Aprons are provided.
Greenhouse Workshop: Layered clothing is recommended due to varying temperatures.
Allergies & Accommodatins
Notify us of any dangerous allergies (e.g., food, plants) prior to the workshop via this form.

Project Expectations:
Many projects are seasonal, and specific plants, flowers, or materials shown in examples are not guaranteed due to supply chain variability.
All projects are unique; no two are identical. Celebrate the individuality of each creation!
Comparing work to others is discouraged—every piece is special and creative.
Behavioral Expectations:
Children requiring special accommodations for behavioral or emotional challenges may need to be accompanied by an adult, at the instructor’s discretion.
No cursing, yelling, negative speak about race, color, religion, sexuality, politics, peer projects etc NO hurtful words
NO hitting or throwing of any materials (No breaking safety rules)
